Music supports literacy and creates a beautiful program

The Aelous Quartet of the Fischoff Music Program played at Elsie Rogers in November. The music program narrated and reenacted the book, "The Best Story" by Eileen Spinelli, after teachers had shared the story with their students.

New safety and security initiatives implemented for 2013-2014 school year

Penn-Harris-Madison has implemented many new safety and security initiatives in our schools over the summer for the coming school year. Here are a few of the changes you will notice:

Elsie Rogers rated an A by Indiana Department of Education

Elsie Rogers has been rated an A school by the Indiana Department of Education. This grade reflects Elsie Rogers's most recent academic performance and is calculated based on data collected throughout each school year. The grade takes into account a variety of factors including student performance and student growth. Kids Club

Kids Club is a childcare program designed to provide children of working parents with childcare in a safe, home-like atmosphere. The program provides care for children in kindergarten through grade five. Kids Club members are able to choose from a variety of recreational, social and enrichment activities each day.
