Today at Elsie Rogers, the students who logged the most reading minutes in January were rewarded by being the first to use their brand-new Book Vending Machine! Elsie Rogers and Horizon applied for grants from the P-H-M Education Foundation for these machines, and we are so happy that they are both up and running. Thanks to a generous grant from @phmef.org, today, Horizon unveiled their Book Vending Machine! Students will be given opportunities to earn tokens through reading initiatives that will be used to 'buy' a book that they can keep. 📖 One other P-H-M school applied for and was awarded a grant for a vending machine—they will unveil theirs later this week.
