Simpson was recognized after her students demonstrated outstanding growth in ELA from Checkpoint 1 to Checkpoint 2. Her students achieved an impressive 62-point growth, reflecting exceptional academic progress and achievement.
Superintendent Dr. Heather Short and Principal Christy Campbell surprised Simpson and her students with the recognition, celebrating the connection between high-quality instruction and student achievement.
